Who else can unite Urban Design, Ireland, Germany, Permaculture, GEN - Global Ecovillages Networks, Gaia University Education and Patrick Geddes but Declan Kennedy? I met Declan and Margrit Kennedy at the 86 International Permaculture Convergence in Oregon. Armed with a Permaculture Design Certificate, in the next month I was to attend the Masters program at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Environmental Design (EVDS). I was not sure I would be up to the Design challenge. They we so professional kind and reassuring to me, happy that I could do it.
